Meet Coterie's Tastemakers
Chad began his career in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. America. He received formal culinary training at the prestigious California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. He is an ACF Certified Executive Chef® and has received numerous awards, including “Best Presentation” from the March of Dimes Signature Chefs event, and medals for food and wine pairing in Northern California. Chad now leads the food and beverage department at Coterie and is based at Coterie Hudson Yards.
A longtime resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, Emmanuel Kemiji brings expertly curated wine lists and pairings to Coterie’s communities. Kemiji was the 12th American to pass the Master Sommelier exam and the Wine and Spirits Director at Ritz-Carlton for more than a decade. He has won numerous awards and was named one of “10 Winemakers to Watch” by the San Francisco Chronicle.
